A protein treatment is one that consists of the adding protein to the hair shift pre/post a chemical service and as a maintenance tool to healthy hair and color treated hair. A protein treatment is also beneficial for hair that is weak and experiencing breakage. The client will undergo a cleansing shampoo first. Then the hair is saturated with the protein treatment and the client is put under a heated dryer for 30 minutes.
